I have located a very nice chicken souvalaki local to me. I was surprised... not a normal souva, but very good.

I got my redundancy money yesterday. It makes up for my splurge after finishing up, plus some extra. I tried to get a sales guy to talk me into a 'time capsule', and he sucked. He sucked bad, so I just got some games which I'll probably play twice.

Now that I am not using my brain for work... it gets me up at 4am and starts me thinking about site upgrades. So
1) Things will be intermittently odd
2) I'll try real hard to stay calm
3) Breakage is not an option

Holy crap - I persevered and worked out why I can select multiple terms in some categories but not others. So now I can have two types of adventure in the one post!

I was in a shitty, narky mood today. More so than usual, and more than yesterday. Then someone in another department, who I formerly rated as 'nice', they turned! Really properly turned like I wondered if it was rabies and refused to communicate by phone for the rest of the day. And mentioned the thoroughness of their turning to multiple people. Work was hell this week. I was ill Tuesday. Then on Wednesday I decided I needed Friday off. The leader suggested Monday as well, and boss agreed - so I am in a 4 day weekend. And yesterday - someone explained to me hat Friday is a public holiday!

So, leave was poorly planned, but I really needed it and a 3 day week will be good.  read more »

I've just realised I have no idea how to approve users since the upgrade. I sort of think I've managed, but there was no satisfying feedback to say that I have... so if I haven't - really I meant to have, and you might want to email me and confirm that I'm not at all competent.

It's all going well, except I need to update all the site modules, and fix the theme.

Plus - I need to be logged in twice before it lets me administer things. I don't even want to know why it would let a user be logged in twice.

Update Hell again. Why won't the arseing 'welcome' go away? Why?? I *have* content.
