I've just dropped to a four day work week, with Wednesdays off. Mostly triggered by being ill, but I think it's good for other reasons. When I was looking for work, four days was an option. And now I have better pay... I get a four day week while earning pre-redundified income.
I now wonder what the OT, who told me not to make quick decisions, will think.
Another co-worker who carried over from former place of employ - they're always cheerful. I gave them a real good frown the other day, and wondered whether I should call that government hotline where we're supposed to report things that just aren't right. ASIO might really need to know about this happiness.
Another co-worker... they work stupid long hours. So I started with reasons that's wrong. A while ago I reached the part where I explain that fairies die. Now I am also blaming global warming on too long work hours.
Just because it's funny... image a rabid shouting footy commentator, and imagine a calm and steady paced cricket commentator. Then swap that commentary style between the two games.
