Sick days are good - but don't seem so awesome when they turn out to be a sick long weekend.
Keep forgetting to mention - I don't get a train in to the CBD often any more, but when I do I am appalled that all the graffiti near East Richmond has been greyed over. I loved that stretch.
There has been an awesome breakthrough in my life - I had chicken kiev last week! In hindsight, it was absolutely retarded of me not to nut out that cheese and whey that stopped me eating them... that is a processed food thing that doesn't apply to places like poulterers.
As I was getting ill last week, I had an impulse collide with a bench at the shops offering gym trials. I have a physio plan and everything, just can't find gym time.... About 10 minutes after I gave them my number I explained to myself that this would not somehow give me time to go. Then a I had a crap couple of work hours, and started feeling sicker. Then... I had to get to my OT and noticed a phone message, which I checked to make sure the OT was still on.
Message got as far as "HI!! This is (some perky chick) from (gym) calling to congratulate" [DELETE].
I have managed to get myself a surprise gift... and I have NO recollection of buying it. Gifts this good are generally from me, and I think I can see on my credit card statement where it is. Or - someone has stolen my credit card details at a time when strangers are sending me awesome DVDs.
Now I think I have worked out how to add a subtitle track to films... I must have decided I would be able to do it when I ordered foreign language DVD.
Someone near me at work has started listening to an oldies radio station at work. I am stuck thinking of it like an old Goodies episode where a giant cod has eaten a record player and is stalking the ocean broadcasting a muffled Max Bygraves
