I think that my beer of choice is no longer imported. Probably because of the thing where you can scratch to get a naked lady. I did have another one, as part of another dessert lunch. And I managed to convince the co-luncher to also go straight to dessert. But they had tea as the drink.

In one of my grumpy workplace tirades, I expressed some very clear views on mainstream current affairs shows. I also reiterated that these are a large reason why I can no longer watch TV. I *can* watch... but I just can't manage the resulting anger. My tirade conveyed why that anger's focus is the shows, and not the subjects.

Today I did see a news article online. At a horror intersection there has been another death in a couple of weeks. It is thought that the new death was caused when the driver's attention was on the roadside memorials to the first victims. I don't quite find it funny... but I wonder how the people who left the shrines feel.

I've learned that my cat can nearly get my shoulder in her mouth, bless her.

Still hanging out for my CDs to come in. And I've realised that Keanu Reeves is another person that I don't recognise. If asked - I would have said that he'd be someone I could spot. Very strange... I took a facial recognition test and did much better than I expected. Not great at separating where I saw a face, but very good indeed at picking whether I'd seen a face.

Someone loaned me something, and said that I had to return it, and to protect it with my life. After agreeing, I asked how they would get the item back if I was dead.
