I think that maybe I can turn Benjiguy to the dark side. He seems to be agreeing that the internet can be a little bit good potentially.

I have agreed to purchase some guitar tabs for him. They can't be as terrible a thing to buy as the Benji Training Method.

Benjiguy noticed the same idiocy as me this morning. The train services are free. I had noticed some sign at the station over the last week, and my brain just noted it as "something something FREE something holidays". So today I went to go through the barrier and they were all open, with no lights to say the ticket would be accepted. So I thought "free". Then I vaguely thought that the barriers at the other end would just be open.

They were. And as I just walked on through and toward the station exit, the number of people standing at the OPEN GATES and repeatedly bumping their tickets in to a closed slot... amazing. I saw one guy make 3 attempts as I walked past. I should have stopped and asked why the hell he would do that to get through a gate which is open. If I had trained a monkey to feed a ticket through a slot to enter and exit a room, I can't imagine it thinking it couldn't exit without doing that. The door is open, so you don't need to do the thing that normally opens it. Because it is open.

Extremely funny, but a disturbing comment on the way people get conditioned.

Also - Benjiguy had never heard of Heathers. I have lent it to him, and apparently Benjiguypartner is excited because they have at least heard how good it is.
