It was so annoying, but I now find it hilarious.

I've been on a Gutenberg binge, and found my way to audio books, read by volunteers. They're great, and I listen on the way to work. Tonight I tried the final chapter of Dracula, and gave up. I'll just get it read to me by the computer tonight, because it's better.

Anyway. Dracula for some reason had various readers for the chapters, and a couple of people did more than one.

This chick annoyed me in earlier chapters because she clearly did not know some words. She was better than the stumbling reader though Also, chick uses a tone of ghost story doom and gloom. Like she's trying to be bleak and dramatic.

Today I lost it as she read as Professor Van Helsing - an old dutch guy. In a gloomy, bleak, slow voice she tries to be a man. And sounds like a guy whose balls haven't dropped. This guy has a very strong Scottish accent, and he's trying to sound dutch, but thinks dutch is like Russian. This guy is also drunk, and at times trying to fit multiple marbles in his mouth. And he has a lisp. By the time I stopped it, I was also wondering about tongue deformities.
