I just had a TWO HOUR dentist visit. There was much hilarity when we were nearly done, and I mumbled "My face hurts". Surprised the hell out of me, I walked in, and there was a friend waving from the office! Everyone is getting crowns.

I stopped in at the second hand CD store nearby, and in stark contrast to last visit there.... close to nothing. They seemed to have a Stranglers double... but couldn't find the friggin' discs. But I did get a Canned Heat thing! I am listening to it now, and seems much as I expected, although not hitting the peak of 'Goin Up The Country'. And... Tuesday(?) I made it up to Heartland. So now I have:

And I got to hear that I didn't miss out on much by missing Covenant. I had wanted to see Destroid, but it was apparently the guy singing along to a laptop.

Benji stuff arrived. Given the big, red, BENJI! sticker, now I have the shame of the post people, and reception at work thinking I love Benji. BenjiGuy is happy though, and there's an end to at least this round of his shopping trauma.

I took today off work, because of the dental thing. Then I took Friday off as well, because it seemed silly to just take Thursday. After booking the leave I realised the cleaner comes tomorrow - thought about canceling Friday-leave. When the cleaner is over I am supposed to hide in my room and make no sound. Then I realised that I got myself a laptop, so the plan is that if a vacuum wakes me I can watch a movie.
