I didn't go to work today, because I felt like utter crap when the alarm went off.
Afternoon I decided I could get to Medicare to get some money back. At the same time it seemed sensible to take part of my bags of change I can't be arsed with.
Last time I banked change the chick on the counter let me know that next time I should use the machine. So today I asked the greeter how it works, and what does it do. It just counts change, no - it won't do anything except count and sort. So I asked why I was told to use it. A brief chat ended with me being told I just had to.
So - I took out one of my change bags. Which astonished this greeter. Turns out she thought I had loose change. She told me to go to the business banking queue, which I did.
After a few minutes I decided to use the general public queue, because it was empty. Teller had a concerned chat with idle teller next door. "(Something) (something) double handling. (Something). Can we do this?"
He was about to send me back to the business queue, so I said "Don't want to take my money?". At which point he took the damn money.
