I took the day off work today. Had a long and painful dental appointment. 'bout 90 minutes, and there was blood and tears.

Beforehand, I figured it was about time I banked my loose change. So I got bonus CDs on the way to pain.

Also - my brother surprised the Hell out of me this morning. I was sleeping in, and then there was this guy in a hi-vis peeking in my bedroom door. Nice.

I checked my work mail, but carefully picked out the jokes from client I used to look after. Like this chick, we've got like an email pen-pal thing going now.

There's one message that looks a bit urgent. But it's either work, or someone trying to fool me in to revealing (via return receipt) that I'm checking my work mail. And there's the latest video, which I can't see from the external world. Last work video involved baby toys, and was quite funny.

It's a strange thing to experience, but our Company founder died... and I really am sad about that. I got sadder when I learned more about his life, because ... I knew he placed great importance on standing up for what is right, and generally being as good a person as possible, and helping others. Turns out he spent some of his billions on doing that. And our Company motto is expanded in his charity mottoes.
