This spam subject makes the mind boggle "Get huge and scare off the competition". Just try to imagine that in practice.

I sent an awesome email to my new Super fund today. I still like them a whole lot more than AMP. But there was my entry about me not being sure who I should be pissed off at about a missing $500 bank transfer... it's my Super Fund.

After speaking with my bank today about "where's my $500?", I got some more detail that made me very sure it was Super Fund, without naming them - because banks can't do that. I was polite to the bank chick, and I could feel the appreciation for a person who is very annoyed - but not blaming them. See - I have learned from suing people, and I know how to work through a nasty situation without malice.

Called Super Fund. Apologised in advance to the unlucky operator who picked up my call. I told him this is an unusual situation, and warned him that I was having to make an effort at "calm". Then I very politely scared him into putting me through to someone with a clue. And that person was very patient and helpful - and he found my $500. In a slightly off-the-record way, he let me know his theory is that I will have trouble getting my money back.

I let him know I used to do legal recoveries, and he gave me an email to send my case to. Which I did - and if that were a legal demand it would be a great one. It was very level-headed and firm without going blame crazy. And I wouldn't like them to do anything - I require it.

I have MRI day tomorrow. They cost $270 each! Plus contrast!! So I'm fucked!!!

Our OHS guy was in today. So I used the opportunity and got some great 'not falling over' tips. Then he went all the way and I've been offered all kinds of things - including some kind of voice typing something. I also told him that, in hindsight, I'm glad that I let him convince me that the carpet was not okay as it was. It was repaired, and now that I really might trip on it and DIE... there's no issue.

Whenever I start an update I just blather on about item one. When I try to remember the other things I just can't be arsed.
