I see snippets of TV while getting cups of tea. Today's news snippet has informed me that there is a "Barbie Week". Mildly annoying of itself, but very annoying that this was on a news broadcast.
At work today various people got a laugh because my mission in life "is to beat spell checks". I then had agreement from people about various spell check annoyances.
I have to hunt down the alleged 'clippy' letter thanking someone for a job interview.
My client based knitting buddy has worked out how to send me pictures, so I am getting a tonne of jokes to make up for the fact that we finally got her damned address right. Meaning we don't chat over me emailing her returned post.
I have hunted down the originals of today's - because I really did like them. But the originals are in German. The slogan is "Because life's too short for the wrong job.", and the company has the collection on site. I got to enjoy the vending machines today - but the butcher hair-styling cape thing is cool with blood.
Life's too short
I sent what was technically a feral, argument ending email - but it was phrased like a happy-love "why can't we all be friends??" thing. And then everyone stopped arguing. But no-one replied about how to fix things.
Before I left sick, I had a kind of internal ceremony where I removed the long-time unicorn occupant. Today I have been getting on so fucking well with the replacement... it's slightly scary. All these things got done, and I saw an error report with NO DATA. It is so unheard of that I emailed new contact about how awesome it is.
Tomorrow is cake day. And I get to see rural unicorn recipient! I have started adding ! at the end of sentences. I count that as evidence that possibly I am swinging to manic. Got to ask my GP, but I have decided that I deserve to at least check check out overly perky.
Thankfully, it's like a really perky grumpy!
I had all my rollover forms ready to post on my desk, when AMP (bastards and retards) sent my work email a spam about giving them more money. I replied and asked that they stop the emails, but I did thank them for the reminder to post those transfer requests.
