Faraday Hat

I've just scanned a story which is only interesting if you like that kind of thing... but one part I found funny.

Researchers from John Hopkins University have 'easily' cracked a car alarm system that works by including an RFID code in car keys. So, your car key sends out a little ID signal which your car confirms when you try to start it. Along in the research they discuss ways to fix this, and one option is "Faraday shielding offers a short-term, partial remedy.". What this means in practical terms is that you can keep your key wrapped in tin-foil while you're not using it.

Just like a tin-foil hat.
