I scored just over 5,000,000 on Apeiron the other day, so I'm at a respectable thirteenth on the high scores. Which is good.

I think I'm going to take up rollerblading. Or, in-line skating. Whichever you prefer. I spoke with a lovely, helpful young man with a view to purchasing skates... but they didn't have a pair in my size. Somehow they did have one skate in my size but the other was larger. If anyone else has a hankering to rollerblade... we could form some kind of posse.

I noticed on that trip to the shops - I was not approached by any person, freak or otherwise. That is quite unusual. Normally I can't get out without someone try ing to talk to me and I've been paying close attention to this phenomena for over nine months. The most recent notable one was about a month ago I had some wierd guy say hello on the bus, the follow me to the othe rside of Northland, chatting away.

Christmas was not horrific this year. After a blissful two year break I did the family dinner thing. It was pretty subdued, none of the usual all-in brawls. I think that would be because my uncle's partner came along. She was okay, seemed a bit bored. Then I think I heard her complaining that the family didn't seem to talk much, in a 'what kind of family is this?' way. Fair enough I guess, but she loses points for lack of tact.

Spent some time with my brother, there and on the return drive, which is always good.

Recently, I have noticed the wording of the Kresta advert is a bit menacing. "Visit a Kresta showroom today, or we will visit you", or some such. They're saying that if you don't come in... they'll know and they'll be around to see you.

Should be gaming this weekend. Just after Christmas we had a game, which was good and bad. Bad because one of the party is dead, good because it was action packed and we saved the day. Next thing to do will be to divvy up the deader's booty and sell it along with the stuff we picked up during the campaign.

Can't think of much else happening... some annoyance with my former hosting provider, which will be a seperate entry I guess.
