1215 - Give up and get out of bed. Shower? Food? Shower? Food?
1225 - Shower. Helicopters. Realise I forget to mention helicopters in that entry.
1300ish - Start load of laundry and switch on the Mac.
1305 - Start a nice cup of tea brewing. Note that I am not actually awake until at least three teas.
1310 - Headphones on, Funker Vogt really fucking loud.
1311 - NOISE!!
1311:01 - *FUCK!!!* *experiences sudden increased heart action*

oh... plane.
1318 - Feeling miffed that I forgot to brace for the damn planes, and I can't go outside and watch (not actually being dressed yet), and that I can't even listen to music - what with armageddon going on outside and the flat vibrating and all.
1320 - Realises those damn planes weren't in the damn program - damn them! I was trying to be organised this year.
The initial noise I don't think is quite a sonic boom. The first run the planes go low enough that even I (blind as a bat) can make out the undercarriage in detail. Also, they angle the jet for maximum effect with the nose raised so that the sound from the jets really washes over everything. They move fast enough that there isn't a slow build up of sound... suddenly you're under it all at once.
Now the helicopters are back. And the cars have started
